Create sgInfo Tasks

Create a sgInfo Task to collect information about your system for Forcepoint Customer Hub.

For more details about the product and how to configure features, click Help or press F1.

Steps

  1. Select Configuration, then browse to Administration.
  2. Right-click Tasks, then select New > sgInfo Task.
  3. Give the Task a descriptive Name and optionally a free-form Comment.
  4. Select the engines whose configuration files and system trace files you want to get from the list on the left, then click Add.
    The selected engines are added to the list on the right.
  5. If instructed to do so by Forcepoint Customer Hub, select Include core files to include the core files for troubleshooting.
  6. Click OK.
    The new sgInfo Task is added to the list of Task Definitions.

Use this dialog box to create a .zip file that contains copies of configuration files and system trace files for the selected components for Forcepoint Customer Hub.

Option Definition
Name Specifies the sgInfo Task name.
Comment An optional comment for your own reference.
Engines Shows the engines that you can get the sgInfo from.
Search Opens a search field for the selected element list.
Up Navigates up one level in the navigation hierarchy. Not available at the top level of the navigation hierarchy.
Tools
  • New — Creates an element of the specified type.
  • Show Deleted Elements — Shows elements that have been moved to the Trash.
Add Adds the selected servers to the Target list.
Remove Removes the selected servers from the Target list.
Target Shows the engines that you have selected.
Include core files When selected, the core files are included.
Include slapcat output When selected, the slapcat database files are included.
