Export the default HTML pages for browser-based user authentication

You can export the HTML pages from the default User Authentication Page element, then edit the HTML pages using any HTML editor.

Steps

  1. Select Configuration.
  2. Browse to Other Elements > Engine Properties > User Authentication Pages.
  3. Right-click the default User Authentication Page element, then select Properties.
  4. Click Export, then save the .zip file under a different name.
  5. Click Cancel to close the dialog box.

Use this dialog box to export or import a .zip file that contains the default HTML user authentication pages for browser-based user authentication. You can also preview the logon, challenge, re-authentication, and status pages.

Option Definition
Name The name of the element.
Comment

(Optional)

A comment for your own reference.
Zip File Shows the name of the .zip file that contains the templates for the HTML authentication page.

To import a .zip file, click Browse. To export the .zip file that is shown, click Export.

Preview Login Page Click to view a preview of the page that contains the Username and Password fields. This page also contains the Log On button.
Preview Challenge Page Click to view a preview of the page that contains the Challenge response field. This page also contains the Log On button.
Preview Status Page Click to view a preview of the page that contains details of the current session. This page also contains the Re-Authenticate button.
Preview Status Page With Automatic Redirection Click to view a preview of the page that contains details of the current session. If the automatic redirection to the original destination does not work, there is a link that the user can click to continue to the original destination. This page also contains the Re-Authenticate button.
Preview Status Page With Manual Redirection Click to view a preview of the page that contains details of the current session.. There is a link that the user can click to continue to the original destination. This page also contains the Re-Authenticate button.
Preview Re-Authentication Page Click to view a preview of the page that can be used for the user to re-authenticate themselves. This page also contains the Password field and Log On button.
