Logs related to VPNs

VPN negotiations and VPN traffic are logged as informational messages and can be viewed in the Logs view like any other logs.

New connections that are allowed through the policy-based VPN are logged like any other traffic according to the logging options in the Access rules.

If there are VPN-related problems, you can activate IPsec diagnostics for the firewall to get more detailed information about the VPN negotiations. The Troubleshooting topics contain further information about possible problems, including explanations for the most common messages you might see in the logs.
